#FriendsFriday 48 - Martyn Bignell
How are you/have you been involved with Casson & Friends?
I worked as a performer for The Dance WE Made 2 years ago in South Kesteven, and recently performed #TinyDance in Stamford, a community piece celebrating the community of Stamford and why it means so much to them.
What do you love about dance?
I love how freeing and universal dance can be. It is a language that we can all understand. It’s such an amazing way to express ourselves and connect with one another, whether its watching a beautiful ballet, to celebrating your song being played on a night out.
What song always makes you dance? (We have a Spotify playlist!)
It would have to be Kerala by Bonobo! That or Mas Que Nada by Sergio Mendes as you just cannot help but move!!!

What else are you working on at the moment?
I work for Lincolnshire One Venues and am part of a fantastic team that deliver community driven creative projects across the county. I specialise in collaborating with participants that have access needs and/or disabilities.
