Casson & Friends presented 5 works as part of the Wild Card evening:

First Contact saw the creation of two brand new works, specially commissioned by Casson & Friends for the evening. Two pairs of artists were each given just two days to create a new collaborative work. The artists hadn’t worked together creatively before this project so the works were inspired by their First Contact.

You could see how much joy it brought the audience to be part of something spontaneous and creative.

There is something so ebullient about Tim Casson that his Wild Card evening at the Lilian Baylis Studio is bound to be a lively occasion ... The choreographer has demystified choreography in such an unpretentious, engaging way and in doing so has possibly broken another world record for the number of new works created amongst a dance audience in one evening.
